- In a separate bowl, mix corn syrup with red food coloring and chocolate syrup or powdered sugar until thick and glossy.
Presentation Steps
- Rim the mugs with cocoa powder or red sanding sugar by moistening the rim with water or corn syrup, then dipping into the powder.
- Pour the hot chocolate mixture into each mug, leaving about an inch at the top.
- Top each mug with whipped cream, piping it high.
- Drizzle the edible blood over the whipped cream for a spooky finish.
