Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine warm water, active dry yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together gluten free all-purpose flour, xanthan gum, and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 2–3 minutes until smooth.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with minced garlic, garlic powder, parsley, and Parmesan cheese.
- Score the dough into strips to form breadsticks, but do not separate completely.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown and aromatic.
- Let the breadsticks cool for 5 minutes, then twist along the scored lines to separate.
