Step-by-Step Instructions for Ghostly Lasagna
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and gather your ingredients.
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and lay them flat on a kitchen towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese with chopped spinach, salt, and pepper to taste until smooth.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer the lasagna: noodles, ricotta-spinach mixture, shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, and marinara sauce. Repeat until ingredients are used up, ending with marinara and mozzarella on top.
- Cut mozzarella into ghost shapes and decorate the top of the lasagna with olive slices as 'eyes'.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
