  • 1 lb smoked sausage sliced
  • 1 head green cabbage sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 unit red bell pepper sliced
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil or canola/peanut oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil use sparingly
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper fresh ground recommended
  • to taste salt be cautious due to soy sauce
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoon green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for sprinkling

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced smoked sausage and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Sauté the sliced onion in the same skillet for about 2 minutes until translucent.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Incorporate sliced cabbage and red bell pepper, stir-fry for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Combine the cooked sausage with the sautéed vegetables, stir for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper, stir well and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, serve hot.
