Cooking Steps
- In a large skillet, pour in 1 tablespoon of olive oil and heat over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
- Carefully place the chicken pieces in the hot skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a plate to rest.
- In the same skillet, add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low; stir in 3 tablespoons of Dijon mustard and 1 cup of heavy cream. Cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return the seared chicken to the skillet and simmer on low heat for an additional 10 minutes.
- Season with ½ teaspoon of salt and ½ teaspoon of black pepper to taste before serving.
