Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic for about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Layer diced potatoes evenly at the bottom of the crock pot.
  3. Add sliced carrots over the layer of potatoes.
  4. Distribute the cut green beans over the carrots.
  5. Spoon the browned beef mixture on top of the vegetables.
  6. Pour the can of diced tomatoes over the layered ingredients.
  7. Add the drained and rinsed kidney beans evenly over the mixture.
  8. Mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, thyme, oregano, and bay leaf in a separate bowl.
  9. Pour the seasoned broth over all ingredients in the crock pot.
  10. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  11. Remove the bay leaf before serving, stir gently to combine flavors, and serve hot.
