  3. Add the tomatillos, cilantro, cumin, oregano, and chopped peppers. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Cover the pot and reduce heat to medium-low. Let it simmer for approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  5. Check that the meat is tender and shred it. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, then serve hot with tortillas or rice.
