Step-by-Step Instructions for Chickpea Scramble
  1. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  2. Stir in 2 cups of drained and rinsed chickpeas along with 1 teaspoon each of turmeric, garlic powder, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 5 minutes.
