Marinating and Cooking
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the marinade ingredients and coat the steak. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the dressing and let it meld while the steak marinates.
- Wash and prep the salad ingredients: greens, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, avocado, cheese, radishes, herbs.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat around 450-500°F (230-260°C).
- Grill the steak for 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare; check with a thermometer.
- Let the steak rest for 8-10 minutes before slicing into thin strips.
Assembling the Salad
- In a large bowl, mix the salad greens, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, and optional radishes.
- Drizzle half the dressing over the salad and toss gently.
- Layer sliced steak, avocado, cheese, and herbs on top. Drizzle remaining dressing and optional add-ons.
- Serve immediately with bread.
