Preparation
- Cook the chicken if not pre-cooked, boil, grill or roast at 375°F for about 20 minutes, then chop.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped chicken with crumbled bacon and ranch dressing, mix well.
- Add optional ingredients like avocado or pickles if desired, and mix again.
- Toast the buns under a broiler for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Assemble by laying the chicken and bacon mixture on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
- Place the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
