Ingredients
  

Base
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cucumber sliced
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • ¼ red onion thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup shredded carrots
  • ½ cup radishes sliced
  • ½ avocado sliced
Topping
  • ¼ cup feta cheese crumbled (optional)
Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
Garnish
  • fresh herbs basil, parsley, or cilantro

Method
 

Salad Preparation
  1. Rinse 4 cups of mixed salad greens thoroughly under cold water. Shake off excess water and gently pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel. Place the greens in a large salad bowl.
  2. Halve 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, slice 1 cucumber, and dice 1 bell pepper. Add these colorful vegetables into the bowl with the mixed greens.
  3. Slice ¼ of a red onion thinly and add it to the bowl. Incorporate ¼ cup of shredded carrots and ½ cup of sliced radishes.
  4. Slice ½ of an avocado into thick wedges and place them on top of your salad mix.
  5. Sprinkle ¼ cup of crumbled feta cheese over the salad if desired.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, and a pinch of salt and pepper until emulsified.
  7. Drizzle the dressing over your salad and gently toss everything together using salad tongs.
  8. Add a sprinkle of fresh herbs on top of your salad.
  9. Serve the Garden Salad immediately for optimal flavor and freshness.
