- Heat the skillet by heating a large skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Brush one side of a flour tortilla with olive oil.
- Carefully place the tortilla oil-side down in the hot skillet. Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce evenly on top of the tortilla.
- Sprinkle ¼ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the pizza sauce. Layer sliced pepperoni on top, followed by Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil.
- Place a second tortilla on top of the layered toppings and press down slightly with a spatula.
- Let the quesadilla cook for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown on the bottom.
- Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until the other side is golden and crispy.
- Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and let it rest for 1 minute before slicing into wedges and serving immediately.
