- Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Preheat your skillet on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
- Mince the garlic cloves and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the honey and low-sodium soy sauce, stirring until well blended.
- Add olive oil to the preheated skillet and heat for about 1 minute, until it shimmers.
- Lay each salmon fillet skin-side down in the hot skillet. Cook undisturbed for approximately 4 minutes.
- Flip each fillet with a spatula and brush half of the glaze onto the tops. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Remove from heat and drizzle the remaining glaze over the fillets.
