Ingredients
  

For the Pastry
  • 1 sheet Puff pastry Thawed
For the Filling
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese Cut into small cubes
  • ½ cup Cranberry sauce Homemade or store-bought
For the Finish
  • 1 large Egg Beaten for egg wash
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh thyme leaves Optional

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets until they are about ⅛ inch thick.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares or circles, approximately 3 inches wide.
  4. Place the cut-out pastry pieces onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. In the center of each pastry piece, place a small cube of creamy Brie cheese.
  6. Spoon about one teaspoon of cranberry sauce over the Brie cheese on each pastry.
  7. Lightly season with salt and pepper and add fresh thyme leaves on top if desired.
  8. Fold the corners of each pastry over the filling to create a small package.
  9. Brush the tops of the pastries with the beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  11. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
