Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Coconut Chocolate Dome
  1. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a heatproof bowl over simmering water for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  2. Prepare the molds by coating them with melted chocolate and freeze for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add a second layer of melted chocolate in the molds and freeze again for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Beat the thick coconut cream for 2-3 minutes until fluffy.
  5. Combine sifted powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract into the whipped coconut cream and fold in shredded coconut. Chill for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the chocolate shells, fill with the chilled coconut filling, and seal with melted chocolate. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. Prepare ganache by simmering heavy cream and stirring into chopped chocolate until smooth.
  8. Drizzle ganache over the chilled domes and garnish as desired. Chill for another 15-20 minutes.
