- Begin by heating 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes.
- Season both sides of the 4 boneless pork chops with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, ½ teaspoon of onion powder, ½ teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of pepper.
- Sear the seasoned pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until nicely browned and cooked through.
- Combine ½ cup of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce in a small bowl, stirring until well mixed.
- Pour the brown sugar sauce evenly over the pork chops in the skillet and let it coat them thoroughly.
- Reduce heat to medium, and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove the skillet from heat and transfer the pork chops to a plate. Let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
