Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, creating top and bottom halves.
- Spread approximately ½ tablespoon of softened butter on the outer side of each roll half.
- On the inner side of each bottom roll half, spread about ½ tablespoon of mayonnaise.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the mayonnaise side of each bottom roll half.
- Carefully place the top half of each roll onto the cheese, ensuring the buttered side is facing up.
- Gently place the assembled sandwiches into the preheated skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
- Using a spatula, carefully flip each sandwich over and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Once fully cooked, remove the grilled cheese from the skillet and let it cool for about one minute.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped parsley on top for a pop of color and flavor.

Notes
Choose quality cheese for better melting, spread butter evenly, and consider variations with other cheeses or meats.
