Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients and whisk until well blended.
- Add cold, cubed unsalted butter and cut into the dry ingredients until resembling coarse crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, blend pumpkin puree, buttermilk, and vanilla until smooth, then combine with dry ingredients.
- Gently stir the mixture until just combined, preserving some lumps.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, pat into a 1-inch thick rectangle, then cut out biscuits.
- Place biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
