Baking Instructions

  2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Combine hot water and vanilla, then mix the vegetable oil, milk, and eggs in another bowl.
  4. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until combined.
  5. Fill cupcake liners ½ to ⅔ full with batter.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, then cool completely in the tin.
Frosting Instructions
  1. Whip together the softened butter and shortening until light and fluffy.
