- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking sheet.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of milk, ½ cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and ¼ cup of melted butter.
- In another bowl, mix together 1 cup of sugar, 1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 2 cups of flour.
- Gradually pour the dry mixture into the bowl with your wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fill each cavity of your donut pan with the batter, aiming for about two-thirds full.
- Bake for approximately 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the glaze by combining 2 cups of powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, and 2 ounces of cream cheese.
- Once cooled, dip each donut hole into the glaze and allow excess glaze to drip off.
