Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the wet ingredients: egg, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and pureed strawberries.
  4. Combine the wet and dry mixtures, folding gently until just combined.
  5. Fill each cavity of the donut pan about ¾ full with batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until they spring back lightly.
  7. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack.
  8. Prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  9. Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and place back on the rack to set.
