Preparation

  5. Fold the corners of each pastry over the filling to form a package shape and pinch the edges closed.
  6. Beat the egg and brush the tops of the assembled danishes with the egg wash.
  7. Bake on a lined baking sheet for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
