Method
 

Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine apple cider, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Add in chopped yellow onion, grated garlic, fresh rosemary, and thyme. Stir in Dijon mustard, grated ginger, and nutmeg, followed by chopped Honeycrisp apple. Bring to a simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
  2. While the glaze simmers, season chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika to enhance flavors.
  3. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken thighs skin-side down for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip chicken and pour the glaze over the chicken, ensuring it covers evenly.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for another 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove skillet from heat and let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
