- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium mixing bowl, cream together ½ cup butter, ½ cup brown sugar, and ⅓ cup granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

- Sift in 1 ¾ cups flour, 3 tablespoons corn starch, ½ teaspoon baking soda, and ¼ teaspoon salt; stir until combined.
