  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Combine melted unsalted butter with granulated and brown sugar in a large bowl and whisk until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, whisking after each, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly.
  7. Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between cookies.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set, but center is slightly underbaked.
  9. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
