Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a large roasting pan with hot water.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  3. Combine eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla with the dry mixture and mix until smooth.
  4. Blend cream cheese until smooth, then mix in caramel sauce.
  5. Pour half of the chocolate batter into a greased bundt pan.
  6. Layer the cream cheese and caramel mixture over the chocolate batter.
  7. Top with the remaining chocolate batter.
  8. Place pan into the water bath and bake for about 60 minutes.
  9. Let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  10. Invert onto a plate to serve, revealing the caramel layer on top.
