Preparation Steps
- Wash the cucumbers under cool water and slice them into 1-inch thick rounds. Scoop out the center of each round to create a well.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth, then fold in chopped dill and chives, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the creamy filling into a piping bag or ziplock bag and pipe the mixture into each cucumber well.
- Top each filled cucumber round with a slice of cherry tomato or a piece of red bell pepper and sprinkle with smoked paprika or everything bagel seasoning.
- Chill for about 15 minutes before serving.
