Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook according to package instructions, approx. 11-13 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  3. Add minced garlic and chopped sun-dried tomatoes to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add dried basil and oregano, simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to skillet, add fresh spinach and drained pasta. Toss gently until combined and spinach wilts.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Ensure all ingredients are heated through.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Serve immediately.
