Cooking Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add farfalle pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté sliced onion for 2-3 minutes until softened and lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
- Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet, sauté for about 3 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside with onions.
- Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook for about 2 minutes until wilted. Drain excess moisture and set aside.
- Sauté minced garlic in the skillet for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add vegetable broth to deglaze, scraping bits from the bottom.
- Stir in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return onions, mushrooms, spinach, and drained pasta to the skillet. Toss until coated in sauce. Season with black pepper and salt to taste.
- Serve hot, spoon into bowls, and enjoy!
