Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, blend 8 oz of softened goat cheese and 4 oz of softened cream cheese together using a hand mixer or a fork until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add ¼ cup of chopped dried cranberries, ¼ cup of finely chopped pecans, 2 tablespoon of honey, ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon of onion powder, and ¼ teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper into the cheese mixture, folding everything together until well incorporated, about 1-2 minutes.
- Form the mixed cheese into a ball shape using your hands, wrap it in plastic wrap or parchment paper, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- After chilling, unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in additional chopped pecans and cranberries, creating an appealing presentation.
- Transfer the cheese ball to a serving platter, and optionally sprinkle fresh parsley around it.
- Serve immediately with an assortment of crackers, sliced bread, or fresh fruit.
