  • 1-1.5 cups Frozen mixed vegetables

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook 1 pound of ground beef over medium heat for 7-10 minutes until browned. Add 1 diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in a can of cream of mushroom soup and 1-1.5 cups of frozen mixed vegetables. Optional: fold in 0.5 cup of sour cream. Add 2-3 tablespoons of milk or broth if too thick.
  3. Allow the meat mixture to cool for about 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread the cooled meat mixture in the dish. Top with 1-2 cups of shredded cheese and arrange frozen tater tots on top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the tots are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
