- Boil a large pot of salted water and add macaroni, cook for about 4 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, sauté ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until brown and onions are translucent.

- Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, dried basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper; mix well and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Fold in reserved macaroni and simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes.
