- Place 1 pound of beef stew meat directly into your crockpot, evenly distributing it at the bottom.
- Sprinkle the packet of onion soup mix evenly over the beef in the crockpot.
- Pour 2 cups of beef broth over the beef and onion soup mix.
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce into the crockpot.
- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and ½ teaspoon of black pepper over the mixture.
- Using a wooden spoon, carefully stir all the ingredients in the crockpot until everything is combined.
- Cover your crockpot with the lid and set it to low for 7 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook 8 ounces of egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Once the egg noodles are cooked, drain them in a colander and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together ½ cup of sour cream, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, and ¼ cup of water until smooth.
