  1. Begin by trimming the crusts off each thick slice of white bread, then cut them into nine equal cubes per slice. Set the cubes aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy. Set this bowl aside.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Place a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and melt ½ tablespoon of butter until bubbling.
  5. Toss half of the bread cubes in the egg mixture, transfer to the skillet, and cook for about 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the cooked bites to the cinnamon-sugar mixture and toss gently to coat each piece.
  7. Arrange the finished bites on a serving plate, showcasing their golden-brown color.
  8. Add another ½ tablespoon of butter to the skillet and repeat the cooking process with the remaining bread cubes.
