Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine sugar cookie mix, melted unsalted butter, and egg in a bowl and mix until dough forms.
  3. Press the dough into the bottom of the prepared dish. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown, then cool completely.
  4. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cookie crust.
  6. Whisk together pudding mix and milk, adding vanilla extract. Pour this over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Spread additional whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  8. Sprinkle festive sprinkles and crushed peppermint candies on top.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Slice and serve chilled.
