  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 1 small diced onion and 2 minced garlic cloves, sautéing for about 3–4 minutes until translucent.
  2. Stir in 1 cup of uncooked rice, cooking for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly to lightly toast.
