Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef. Break it apart as it cooks, seasoning it with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir occasionally until fully browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat and remove from heat.
  2. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Allow it to preheat while you prepare the baking sheet and tortilla chips.
  3. Prepare the Baking Sheet: Spread out tortilla chips on a large baking sheet in an even layer.
  4. Add the Beef and Cheese: Evenly distribute cooked ground beef over the chips. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese over the beef.
  5. Bake the Nachos: Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Add Fresh Toppings: Top baked nachos with diced tomatoes, black olives, and jalapeños if desired. Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top.
