Dough Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of instant yeast, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Slowly pour in 1 cup of warm water and 3 tablespoons of melted butter, mixing until a shaggy dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Transfer it to a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and place in a warm spot to rise for about 1 hour.
- Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Flatten each piece slightly, add about 1 tablespoon of mozzarella cheese in the center, fold the dough over the cheese, pinch to seal, and place the rolls seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
- Cover the baking dish with a cloth and allow the rolls to rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley, and optional garlic powder until fully combined, then remove from heat.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush the tops of the warm rolls generously with the prepared garlic butter.

Notes
These rolls are best enjoyed warm right after baking, for enhanced gooey, cheesy goodness.
